What is in my Bag?!

I want to share with you what is in my bag (and some things that don't fit haha) because I always enjoy when other people share these posts. Hopefully you all find it interesting an d enjoy all my toys (ok, I treat them more like children...they all have names because I am a little obsessed..) If possible I will also show examples of each thing and how I use it.

OOPS I forgot my two-way shoot through umbrella...anyway, here it is!

So first up is my Kelly Moore Bag, which I looove! Mine is the Mimi. She is the best, it is fashionable, durable, and fits a TON of equipment in it! I am already planning my next one! These would also be fantastic diaper bags for you Moms out there!

This is my Ol' Faithful, it is my 50mm Macro, I got it with my first real camera back in 2005!!! Although I am planning on upgrading in the spring, it has served me well and is great for my detail shots!

This is my Canon 35mm 1:4L I cannot LIVE without this lens, it is amazing! I shoot most of my weddings with this lens because it is so versatile! It doesn't distort like most wide angle lenses and the bokeh is amazing as is with all Canon L Series lenses are! By the way, her name is Lorrell.

Meet Lela, she is my favorite lens that I own, and the first L lens I bought (YES, I nearly peed myself when I got it) She is a Canon 50mm 1:2. It is hard to explain why I love this lens as much as I do, but to me, she just creates magic!

Now this is Queen Latifa! She is AWESOME and the latest to be added to my collection, she has saved my butt more than a few times already! She is a Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS USM II. When shooting in some churches, you are only allowed to stand so close to the front, but with this lens, it is like you are right there in the action...it is just awesome!

This is my Pocket Wizard III Plus and Flex TT5 with one of two of my Nissin Mark II Di 866 flashes. I understand that there are fancier flashes out there but for what I do and my level of flash, they work for me great! For those of you not in the Photog world, Pocket Wizards are transmitters that talk to the flashes when not attached to the camera. I am still figuring out all I can do with flash so more on that in another post!

These are awesome, these are my gels for my flashes. Gels are a great tool I have recently found that help your flash cast the same color as the room so as not to give your image a white cast like a normal flash does! This kit is cheap and comes in several different colors. In this picture I used 1/4 Orange filter as to match the tungsten cast in the church, then just adjusted my WB to correct for the tungsten (instead of having the tungsten cast and the flash and not being able to correct it at all!)

Finally, I am always armed with gum and some candy just in case! Usually some tissues and hygiene products get thrown in there two! Hope this was fun and it helped some of you out!
