I have the BEST job in the World!

Sometimes I can't believe just how lucky I am to do what I do... It sounds sooo cheesy to say that, but I really mean it! I have thought for a long time now that it is my God-given purpose in life to help the people around me be encouraged to live life to the fullest. The best part about being a portrait and wedding photographer is that I get to not only tell people how beautiful they are, I get to show them! It's that magical moment when a client sees a picture of themselves and... all of a sudden...they aren't just hearing that they look good, they know they look good! That, that right there, is why I am a photographer.

Once someone has that *aha* moment, you can almost feel the shift in their confidence, it is SO beautiful and it will never get old. I thought I would share with everyone some *aha* moments from my clients, they still make me smile!

Perfect!!!!!

I don't know if this could have been any sweeter?

This shot got Kristina to really believe she could look stunning in front of the camera, and she hasn't looked back, now she's a pro!

I have photographed Molly for pretty much EVERY major milestone (and I have loved them all) but it all started with her Senior Session, it was a real game changer. Now she can rock it out with the best of them! You may remember her from THIS POST.

I saved this one for last because it is one of the funniest *aha* moments! So, let me give you a backstory: This is my cousin Cameron's senior session. Cameron is an amazing artist and photographer. Although everyone can see just how handsome he is, Cameron has always been a little shy (not to mention modest), so for this moment to happen, it was going to take a real sign! After I took this shot, literally seconds after (and I just got telling him how handsome he looked mind you) two ladies across the street coming out of the Convention Center started whistling and hollering at him and yelling "hottie"...No joke, hands down, best moment ever!!! Love you Cam!

So, if you don't think you are photogenic, or beautiful, go ahead, try and challenge me, (in the words of Sue Bryce) "I know what beautiful looks like!
